It is true, God does really need your money. All churches promote this. I always wanted to start up my own cult to reap the rewards of the sheeple (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sheeple).

A classic. It appears that Mr. Carlin’s frisbee is stuck on the roof now…. (that is from an earlier comedy show, about Frisbeetarians).

Anyways, what he says is true (and funny), especially with the Megachurches and the Televangelists.

It is always amazing how much of YOUR money, God really needs.

Oh, and I think Mr. Carlin was a little low on his Billions & Billions per year comment. If you take all religions combined, the totals worldwide do exceed 1 Trillion in untaxed income per year. (About 3% of annual world wide monetary transactions).

I thought you couldn’t buy love anyway, but a love affair with religion seems kind of expensive.
